It's supposed to be http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/rss/tags/marketpress/topics but that URL 404s. Something wrong with the backend?

I don't believe that that has ever worked. Seems to be with the rewrite rules though, as doing it manually works ok: http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/rss.php?tag=marketpress&topics=1
